About This Guide
Marseille has a reputation. Not always flattering. But those who take the time to look beyond the clichés discover something else entirely. Stunning architecture, a rich cultural scene, wild nature on the doorstep, and people who are genuinely happy to live here.

I’ve lived here for 22 years. Long enough to know the city in all its layers, the famous landmarks and the quieter spots that most visitors never find.
The Calanques are my playground. A vast natural space stretching along the coast, from a relaxed two-hour seaside walk to a full seven-hour hike with ropes and narrow passes, turquoise coves, 360° panoramas, cliffs dropping straight into the Mediterranean. Something for every level, and always something unexpected.
In the city, I like to wander. A street I haven’t tried, a different neighborhood, an unplanned detour. Marseille rewards curiosity.
This site is the result of 22 years of exploring. My goal is simple: that you leave thinking there’s something special about this place, and that you take the best possible memories home with you.
